COAL TAR & SALICYLIC ACID SOLUTION – 60 ml

eStaar solution is an anti-dandruff solution which contains coal tar and salicylic acid
It is fortified with conditioners which prevent dryness, moisturizes the hair, protect hair against harsh ingredients, save from environmental insults and offers anti-irritant properties
It therapeutically relieves itching & flaking associated with dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis & psoriasis of the scalp

How does it work?

Salicylic acid is an keratolytic, or peeling agent, which works by causing the outer layer of skin to shed
It acts as a scale lifter, helping to soften and remove psoriasis scales as well as promotes shedding of psoriatic scales without affecting epidermis structure
Salicylic acid facilitates greater penetration of topical medication
Coal Tar reduces the turnover of the skin cells and reduces inflammation and have anti-scaling properties
It offers antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and inhibit keratinocyte proliferation
Benzalkonium Chloride acts as a surfactant

eStaar solution is fortified with Milk Protein (Casein) and Cococin which nourishes and moisturizes the scalp
It helps to Controls Scalp Build-up, Relieves Scalp Itch, Restores Moisture and Comforts Irritated Skin

Pityriasis Capitis, commonly known as dandruff, is a common condition characterized by fluctuating symptoms that can be triggered by stress.
Seborrheic Dermatitis is a common skin disease that causes an itchy rash with flaky scales. It causes redness on light skin and light patches on darker, it’s also called dandruff, cradle cap, seborrhoea, seborrheic eczema, and seborrheic psoriasis.

Salicylic acid can cause stinging, burning, and skin irritation, dryness, peeling, flaking of skin
Salicylic acid, with other acne products such as retinoids or benzoyl peroxide can increase dryness, peeling, or stinging
Should not be taken in patients having:
- Diabetes
- Impaired blood circulation
Report to the physician if the patients are allergic to Salicylic acid or any other drugs
Please consult with the dermatologist for use in pregnancy and lactation

Before applying this medicine, wet the hair and scalp with lukewarm water
Apply enough medicine to work up a lather and rub well into the scalp for 5 minutes, then rinse
Apply the medicine again and rinse thoroughly
